Not good enough

"There she stood, a head of black silky hair running down her back, trimmed to the latest fashion trend. Slender legs covered with the right amount of cloth, giving that classy look. Her body was made to fit in everything. In the light, her tan glowed."

She was everything a guy would want. Everything a guy desired...

Turning the table around, was a plain Jane. Short, plumped and rough around the edges. The clothes on her body were equalivent to a robe draped on her. Old fashioned and shapeless...

Miss Perfect stood out crowds, with that smile on her, waving to every single person that walked past. Guys came up to her, asking how she was, trying to get that just one date with her so they can boast about their "achievement" to their guy friends.

Back in that dimly lit corner, stood plain Jane. Unawared, unnoticed, unappreciated.

Does beauty really lies in the eye of the beholder? Isn't it still superficial? The first thing that attracts the eye to even see is something worth looking at.

While watching NIP/TUCK the series, this inspired me : "Beauty does not lie in the eye of the beholder, it lies within the soul"

What is true beauty? Does it even exist?... Beauty seems to be like a black and white picture. A balance of the "miss perfects" and "plain Janes". Unfairness...
